    там теперь так: "The prime minister said that Israel is doing its utmost to bring about the release of Ehud Goldwasser and Eldad Regev, who were kidnapped by Hezbollah on July 12 on Israel's northern border."

    а приплыли еще в 2004 - тогда переговоры с хезбаллой (хоть и непрямые) уже велись.

    К сожалению, ты прав. Но сделать нельзя ничего. В Израиле уже давно в премьеры выбирают "лучших из худших". И результат не заставляет себя ждать.
